Summary:	These 27 papers attest to recent progress in deep underwater geology around Hawaii through an ongoing cooperative effort by US and Japanese researchers, and to understanding specifically of the growth history of the Kilauea Volcano and its instability, giant landslides in the northeast of Oahu, and the genesis of the Hawaiian plume and magma.
