Summary:Business consultant Ralph G. Moore was born on July 4, 1949 in Evanston, Illinois. After graduating from Evanston Township High School in 1967, Moore attended Southern Illinois University, earning his B.A. degree in accounting in 1971. He was awarded his CPA license the following year. After briefly working for Arthur Andersen, Moore founded Ralph G. Moore & Associates (RGMA) in 1979. RGMA was one of the premier consulting firms for helping corporations diversify their supply chain. RGMA also worked with government entities and helped entrepreneurs raise capital. In addition to his consulting work, Moore served on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including as a trustee of City Colleges of Chicago. He was also the recipient of numerous awards, including "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Inc. magazine and Ernst & Young. Additionally, RGMA was recognized as "Supplier of the Year" by the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
