| Summary: | Comprising scores of photographs from inside the studio of the prolific Dutch graphic designer and educator Karel Martens, this book is a testament to the personal and experimental nature of his work. Although he can be placed in the tradition of Dutch modernism, Martens seems to maintain a certain distance from contemporary developments.
