Schulze (University of Northern Colorado) continues her work of the same title that covered the censuses of 1900 through 1940 (CH, Mar '86). That work itself followed her Population Information in Nineteenth Century Census Volumes (CH, Jun '84). Purpose and design remain the same, and Schulze comments that "Surprisingly, the subjects have remained very much the same and those listed on the end pages {{i.e., endpapers}} of this book are very nearly identical to those of the other two volumes." To reiterate the Choice evaluations of earlier volumes: useful, especially to libraries lacking the actual census volumes. -N. C. Eldblom, SUNY College at Potsdam
