Summary:	As part of the cycle of Interdisciplinary Conferences TRAMA of Design organized by Cátedra Rico de Diseño Gráfico of the Centro de Estudiantes (CEADIG-FADU-UBA), one conference titled "Memory of the Edges" was dedicated to the life and art of Elda Cerrato (b. Italy 1930, lives and works in Argentina). The event examined Cerrato's art spanning from her early experiments with Informalism to her most recent abstract work, in a biographic and academic context. The present edition is a transcription of an interview that Paula Siganevich, professor and researcher of the Career of Graphic Design of the UBA, did to the noted artist within the framework of the conferences and represents a firsthand testimonial on Cerrato's life, art, travels, projects, learning, and academic development.
