In the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, in and for the Eastern District, sitting in equity : between Watson Malone, Edmund Deacon, and Edward Wetherill, all of the city of Philadelphia, on behalf of themselves and such other stockholders of the North Branch Canal Company, having like ground of complaint, as may, contributing to the expense of this suit, be permitted to become parties hereto, plaintiffs, and the North Branch Canal Company, a body politic and corporate in law, and Charles F. Wells, Jr., of Athens, Pennsylvania, President; George M. Hollenback, of Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania, John Arnot, of Elmira, New York, and Marlon C. Mercur, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, manager of said corporation, defendants.
