Summary: | Rosemary & Guy Woodhouse are a young married couple who move into an old apartment building in New York City, where they meet their friendly, yet nosy neighbors Roman & Minnie Castevet. While Rosemary finds the couple to be a bit strange, Guy becomes intrigued with them. Rosemary's suspicions toward her neighbors only heightens when they discover she is having a baby & the couple becomes increasingly interested in Rosemary & her pregnancy. A series of misfortunes & strange occurrences begin, leading Rosemary to believe that her neighbors are witches with alternate plans for her husband & her unborn child. What follows is an eerie, haunting account of a very difficult pregnancy, playing off of one of our biggest fears - that sometimes "they really are out to get you." |
