It seems clear that the preliminaries were reprinted from standing type, and sheets C-G simply reissued (or reprinted); but signature C was clearly reset, at least in part: the press-figures on pp. 8 and 10 have disappeared, and the ornaments on pp. 14-15 have been changed. The press-figure on p. 61 has also gone, which suggests perhaps that this forme was reimposed on another press."-Dealer's description. |
