Summary:Set in France in 1961-1962 during the Algerian War, this drama presents a vivid account of the exploitation and political repression of an Algerian immigrant worker living in Paris in the squalid and miserable conditions of the shantytowns. He longs to see his family and brings them from Algeria to live with him in his makeshift hut -- with disastrous results.
