Notes:Cycle of chants and lessons for the office of Saint Achacius and his 10000 companions who, according to legend, suffered martyrdom about the year 120 in Armenia; chiefly edited from the ms clm 22241 of the Bavarian State Library in Munich. The ms. contains the vita of St. Achacius, together with the lessons and chants of the historia. Additional texts were taken from the Passau breviaries now kept in the Bavarian State Library in Munich, the ms. clm 23275 and the printed book Liturg. 129/I.
