Beginning with report for 1899, nonmetallic minerals are grouped by end use: fuels, structural materials, abrasives, chemical materials, pigments, miscellaneous.
Reports consist of 1 oversized table showing quantity and value of production of 11-13 metallic and 36-56 nonmetallic mineral products, for current year and 4-12 preceding years.
