"The printer's epigrammaticall epistle to the understanding reader" signed I.R., states that "Vnknowne to 'th author, this faire courtly piece was drawne to 'th presse".
This edition is known to exist in at least three states: one with line 7 of the Epilogue (N3v) beginning 'For if your selfe a masters ...', another beginning 'For if your selues as masters ...' and a third with N3 a cancel *. Cf. Greg.
