Local Note:The University of Chicago Library's copy is bound in blind-stamped vellum. An inscription on the inside front cover dated 1608 states that the volume was a gift to an unknown recipient from the son of astronomer David Fabricius, Johann. Two typed pages concerning the sale of volume dated 1958 are laid in before rear cover.
