Summary:Fragments of the diary of a young Jew (b. 1924) written in the Łódź ghetto between April 1941-September 1942 (other fragments found have not been authenticated and were never published). Includes facsimiles of proclamations by the ghetto authorities. Sierakowiak died in the ghetto in April 1943 from tuberculosis. The diary was found after the war and is now kept at the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw.
