Summary:"A collection of poems: most of the poems are selected from Rhymes from the nursery by Ann and Jane Taylor. One poem is taken from Original poems for infant minds by the Taylor sisters. Two states noted: one in printed wrapper; another in decorated paper wrapper. Mahlon Day was located at 376 Pearl St., New York, from 1825 to 1833. One American Antiquarian Society copy has a publisher's advertisement on p. [4] of wrapper with later address of 374 Pearl St. Mahlon Day moved to 374 Pearl St. in 1833. "English classics for sale by M. Day, 374 Pearl-St."--advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper, one copy in hand. "Children's books ... price one cent each ..."--advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper, one copy in hand."
