Summary:An evolving programme of exhibitions and performances taking place across five European cities, "AISTIT / Coming to Our Senses" sets out to explore the complexity and wonder of our sensorial perceptions, and in particular how they shape us as human beings. The Finnish Institute commissioned curators Satu Herrala and Hans Rosenström to develop a project addressing the topic of "senses" ("aistit" in Finnish) to reflect on the physical, political, and technological aspects of human senses in the 21st century. The extensive effort brings together visual and performing artists and invites the viewer to engage and immerse themselves in the sensations of their surroundings. Exhibition: Kunsthalle Helsinki, Finland (20.08 - 05.09.2021).
