Summary:'Semi Monde' offers a wonderful view of a cross-section of high society. Set across three years in the Ritz Hotel in Paris, we see characters representative of 1920s' society 'jagged with sophistication ... either demi mondaine or just plain mondaine' as Coward himself put it. Although written in 1926 it was not until 1997 that it was first staged, by Glasgow Citizens Company.
