Summary:Mass culture is an expression that, even with its contingent specificities, was developed in the Western world at the end of World War II. In this context, the use of radio, cinema, theatre, and television as cultural artifacts that potentially made it possible to reproduce the same discourse simultaneously for the entire population. Argentina governed between 1946 and 1955 by Juan Domingo Perón went through a process that made these artifacts a pedagogical resource at the service of sensitivity management. The creation within the educational administration of the Departamento de Radio Enseñanza y Cinematografía Escolar (Department of Radio Teaching and School Cinematography) served as the backbone of a national pedagogical audiovisual policy, with significant federalizing resources. Through the design, elaboration, and distribution of a set of radio, cinematographic, television, theatrical and graphic activities, the pedagogical audiovisual policy sought to reproduce a particular image and imagination so that it could be transmitted to all citizens. This way, the didactic use of images and words through various technologies, especially cinema and radio, made it possible for political discourses "pedagogical, but also propagandistic" to transcend school walls and be incorporated into the daily life of the New Peronist Argentina.
