Summary:Since 2011, Tunisia has experienced a profound transformation of its political institutions, including the new Constitution that came into force on January 27, 2014. In this context, the authorities have initiated several reforms to improve fiscal transparency and modernize public financial management. The establishment of a new government in early 2015 also presents an opportunity to revitalize the reform agenda in this area.
