Summary:	Silvia Rivas (b. Argentina, 1957) who won the Premio Joven Pintura Argentina 1995. Born in Buenos Aires in 1957. In 1981 she graduated at Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredónʺ. At the same time, she attended workshops under the direction of Hércules Solari, Kenneth Kemble and Víctor Grippo. Silvia Rivas exhibited her works since 1988 and participated in many individual and group exhibitions, at a national and international level. Her works have been honored on many occasions. In 2010, presents Buzzing video-installation at Malba, Museo de Arte Latinoamericano Colección Costantini, Buenos Aires, in 2012, exhibits Buzzing, 8 channel video-installation at Centro de Expresiones Contemporáneas, Rosario and Buzzing, works on paper and one channel video at Fundación Alon, Buenos Aires. On this same series, in 2013 she participated with interventions on walls at the Fundacion Proa and in 2014, a solo exhibition of video-installations and works on paper at the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes Juan B. Castagninoʺ, Rosario. In 2015, presents Still paradise is ours, installation with variable dimensions at Diana Lowenstein Gallery, Miami, USA.
