Summary: | The first exhibition of the works of Mauro Restiffe (São José do Rio Pardo, SP, 1970) in a Brazilian Museum. Curated by Rodrigo Moura, "Álbum" is part of a research on the artist and includes only images never before presented in exhibitions. It is, thus, a retrospective of unpublished works. The selection of photographs coves his production since the end of the 1980's. More than three years examining approximately of 30000 images, which resulted in the exhibition of 143 photographs which will be divided into three segments: "Paisagens e multidões" (Landscapes and crowds). "Album" and "Enquadramentos e construções" (Frameworks and constructions). Mauro Restiffe uses the analog technique for his photographs since the late 1980. His images range from architectural photography to the documentary photography through series on urban scenes.
