Summary:Corporate executive Shelley Stewart, Jr. was born on April 16, 1953 on Long Island, New York. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in criminal justice from Northeastern University in 1975 and 1978, respectively, and his M.B.A. degree in business administration in 1990 from the University of New Haven. Stewart joined United Technologies in 1982, serving as director of worldwide sourcing, and held positions in operations and supply chain at Norden Systems, Hamilton Sunstrand, and UTC Corporate. He went on to serve as vice president of supply chain for Raytheon in 2000, and as senior vice president of supply chain at Invensys in 2002. He became senior vice president of operational excellence, chief procurement officer, and vice president of supply chain for Tyco Industries in 2003. Stewart joined E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in 2012 as vice president of sourcing and logistics and chief procurement officer.
