Summary:Architect Donald L. Stull was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 16, 1937. He moved with his family to Columbus, Ohio in 1949, and graduated from East High School in 1955. In 1961, he received his B.S. degree in architecture from Ohio State University, and his M.Arch. degree in architecture in 1962 from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. In 1966, he established Stull Associates in Boston which became Stull and Lee Associates, Inc., when M. David Lee, a Harvard Design School graduate joined Stull in 1990. Since 1966, Stull's architectural and urban design and planning works have profoundly impacted the physical landscape of Boston and other urban areas. Stull was also a leader in his profession to bring attention to the unique contributions of African American architects and urban designers across America with New DesigNation.
