Summary:Business executive Terry Jones was born on January 23, 1947. He graduated from Trinity College with his B.S. degree in electrical engineering and earned his M.S. degree in computer science and biomedical engineering from George Washington University. After obtaining his M.B.A. degree from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1972, Jones became co-founder and vice president of Kiambere Savings and Loan in Nairobi, Kenya. In 1977, he returned to the U.S. to join Syncom Inc. as vice president. Syncom invested in companies such as Black Entertainment Television (BET), Radio One Inc., TV One, and Iridium Satellite. Jones served as vice chairman and executive officer of Citi Group Global Investment Management and Citi Group Asset Management. Jones also directed Fox Entertainment Group and Cyber Digital Inc. He served as a board member for Delta Capital Corporation, Philip Morris Companies, Cornell University, Spelman College, and Howard University Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation Institute.
