Summary:Public relations executive Priscilla Clarke was born August 3, 1960, in Swindon, England. She grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Windsor, Connecticut, graduating from Windsor High School in 1978. Clarke attended Western New England College, but left to give birth to her first daughter. She later began to take classes at Fairfax Public Access to become a certified television producer; and, discovering a passion for publicity, she enrolled in Columbia Union College to study communications and business. In 2003, she launched Clarke & Associates, a public relations firm where she was president and CEO. Notable clients of Clarke included Black Entertainment Television, the Congressional Black Caucus, the National Medical Association, Shaquille O'Neal and Beyoncé Knowles. In 2003, Clarke was named one of "Fifty Influential Minorities in Business" by the Minority Business & Professionals Network, Inc. In 2006, Clarke received the 2006 Black Press All-Star Award for Publicist of the Year.
