An excellent anthology of 14 articles representing contemporary scholarship on Aristotle's Ethics. The articles are written by old hands and new; half appear in print for the first time. The topics covered are Aristotle's methodology, the " argument, virtue and character, practical reasoning, and persons and property. The volume contains a good bibliography and indexes of names, concepts, and passages. The concept index includes romanization of Greek terms. This collection is a handy one for both students and scholars alike. Very desirable for any library. P. Schollmeier University of Nevada, Las Vegas
